Live Data: IranWarLive Integration

Our "Latest Reports" feed is powered by IranWarLive.com, an automated OSINT aggregator tracking Operation Epic Fury.

Why IranWarLive?

  • Incremental filtering: Uses AI to filter historical recaps, logging only new kinetic events
  • Macro-casualty locks: Major casualty figures are locked and only updated via human verification
  • Political agnosticism: Extracts event subjects/objects without editorializing
  • Machine-readable: Provides structured JSON with coordinates and source attribution

Each event includes a direct link to the original news source for verification. If the live feed is unavailable, we fall back to cached data or mock estimates.

🔄 Update Frequency

Live reports: The Latest Reports feed updates in real-time from IranWarLive's OSINT aggregator (cached for 5 minutes).

Country statistics: Updated twice daily at approximately 08:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC, cross-referencing official sources and verified OSINT.

Each update involves cross-referencing multiple sources and attempting to verify claims through independent confirmation when possible.

📈 Official vs Reported Figures

Official Figures

Numbers released by governments, military spokespersons, or verified health ministry data. These tend to be conservative and may exclude certain categories.

Reported Figures

Estimates from OSINT analysts, opposition groups, NGOs, and social media aggregation. These often include unconfirmed reports and may be significantly higher than official numbers.

Verification Status

Each data point is assigned a verification status:

Confirmed— Verified by multiple independent sources or official statements
!
Reported— From credible sources but not independently verified
?
Unverified— Single source or disputed claims, treat with caution

📊 Confidence Levels

Each country's data is assigned an overall confidence level:

HIGHAccess to reliable official sources, free press, transparent reporting
MEDIUMMixed source reliability, some official data available but contested
LOWLimited access, heavy censorship, conflicting reports from all sources

⚠️ Important Disclaimers

This is not definitive data. Casualty figures in active conflicts are inherently uncertain. Numbers may be revised significantly as more information becomes available.

All parties have incentives to over or underreport.Official figures may minimize own losses and exaggerate enemy casualties. Opposition sources may do the opposite.

Fog of war applies. During active military operations, even well-intentioned sources make errors. We attempt to correct errors as they become known.
